Accessibility

Last updated September 25, 2026

MyMeals should work for everyone who wants to understand what they eat. This statement covers the MyMeals iPhone app and this website.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on this website, and to follow Apple’s accessibility guidelines in the app, in line with the European Accessibility Act.

What we do

On this website:

  • Text and interface colors meet WCAG AA contrast in both light and dark mode, and the site follows your system’s appearance setting.
  • Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a link to skip to the content.
  • Images of the app have text descriptions that say what the image shows.
  • Motion is limited to short transitions and respects your system’s reduced-motion setting.
  • Text can be resized to 200 percent without loss of content, and layouts work down to a 320-pixel-wide screen.

In the app:

  • Text follows Dynamic Type, including the larger accessibility sizes.
  • The app follows your system’s light or dark appearance.
  • Charts and quality notes carry text labels alongside their colors.

Where we are

This statement is new, and so is MyMeals. We are auditing the app screen by screen with VoiceOver and will list any known gaps here, with the date we expect to fix them.

Tell us about a barrier
